Charlotte Wedding Photography: Alessandra and Michael

Alessandra and Michael seem perfectly suited for each other.

And even though she is a professional ballet dancer and he is an engineer, it’s obvious they match up so well in almost every other way.

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Alessandra for many years as she performed with the North Carolina Dance Theatre. And I was happy to get to know Michael a bit during their engagement session.

Their intimate weekday wedding at the Pewter Rose Bistro was a joyous celebration of family and friends.

Karisa Pennell of Nectar helped create a wonderful setting with her floral design and the Rev. Rebecca Nagy gave her personal touch to the ceremony. Company photographer Laura Mueller did her usual stellar job helping to keep all the angles covered.

It was great to see North Carolina Dance Theatre President and Artistic Director Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux and his wife, Associate Artistic Director Patricia McBride, as well as several current and former NCDT dancers.

Alessandra is leaving NCDT as she and Michael move on to new adventures, and I wish them the very best.
