I first met Melissa several years ago when she did an internship at The Charlotte Observer when I was a staff photographer there. Melissa now works as a visual journalist at The Rock Hill Herald, and I was honored when she contacted me about photographing her wedding. And although he recently changed jobs so they could be in the same area, Dan has worked in sports journalism in television.
