There were a few themes heavily influencing the beautiful rural Polk County wedding of Mary Ellen and William.
The first was an incredible sense of place and family as the celebration took part on the property of Mary Ellen’s Aunt Brenda and Uncle John not far from the spot where generations of her family have lived. And the other was of duty, the kind provided by Navy pilot William and many of his fellow servicemen who took part in the ceremony.
There were wonderful country touches all around the site and the weather cooperated to allow the entire event to go by with nothing more than a few sprinkles.
And thanks to good friend, the talented photographer Richard Israel, who stepped in to assist in documenting the day.
Thanks also to Mary Ellen’s parents, Sherry and Daryl, who were so gracious and fun.
Hats off to all involved with this incredible event and congratulations to Mary Ellen, William and their families.
