Betsy and Joseph live in Charlotte, but both of their families and many of the guests traveled from Houston for their elegant event.
The monsoon-like weather we’ve been experiencing in Charlotte had everyone looking to the skies, but we made it though the day with just a few brief showers.
Christ Episcopal Church hosted the wedding and Charlotte Country Club served as the setting for the reception. It’s always great to work with the talented team from Dina Berg Blazek Events and Erin Stroup and the top-notch staff at Charlotte Country Club.
Haines Barksdale of For Goodness Cakes created a fun cake that resembled a bee hive, a nod to the ‘B’ nickname Betsy’s mother Laura affectionately gave her daughter. Our company photographer Laura Mueller did an excellent job working with the guys before the ceremony and then helping to document the look and feel of the wedding and fun reception.
