While I enjoy the beauty and grace of classical ballet, I always look forward to the eclectic, creative performances of North Carolina Dance Theatre’s Innovative Works.
This year’s collection includes works by choreographers Dwight Rhoden, Sasha Janes and Mark Diamond. (Unfortunately I missed Rhoden’s piece due to a scheduling conflict).
Adding to the experience is the setting in the beautiful Patricia McBride & Jean-Pierre Bonnefoux Center for Dance, which allows for a more intimate view of these incredible performers.
The show runs through Feb. 16th.
