I had the great pleasure of getting to know Stuart, David and their families during an action-packed wedding weekend.
Our photo documentation started with the rehearsal at Myers Park Presbyterian Church on Friday evening, followed by an elegant dinner at the The Duke Mansion and a fun after-party outside Cafe Monte.
It was great to have some extra help as photojournalist Todd Sumlin, a former colleague of mine from The Charlotte Observer, and our company photographer Laura Mueller, both worked to capture some wonderful images.
The entire event was spectacular, from the wedding at Myers Park Presbyterian Church to the reception at Charlotte Country Club. Elizabeth House Flowers filled seemingly every nook with gorgeous arrangements and the cake from Kathy Allen Fine Cakes was a work of art. Walton Event Design helped keep the weekend on track.
