Neither snow, nor ice nor anything else for that matter could stop Barbara and Pete’s festive wedding in Charlotte Saturday.
Some nasty winter weather pelted much of the area around Charlotte on Friday and it did keep several guests from making it to the wedding. But those who were able to make the trip were treated to a wonderful, intimate family celebration.
After exchanging vows at Providence Baptist Church, the couple took a short limo ride to the reception at The Morehead Inn. The combination of the inn’s holiday decor and florals from Flowers From the Cellar was enough to put anyone in the Christmas spirit.
Haines Barksdale of For Goodness Cakes created another masterpiece and Flowers From the Cellar, First Impressions Linens and the staff at The Morehead Inn all did an excellent job. And it was a pleasure working with the talented Alyse of Alyse Woodward Events. Everything came together beautifully and she handled the weather issues and was also able to stall Barbara for Pete’s surprise carriage ride after the reception.
